About Us

Our Company

Welcome to Zendia GmbH, where innovation meets simplicity in the fight against infectious diseases. Founded in 2014 with the vision of revolutionizing diagnostics, Zendia is a dynamic start-up at the forefront of developing cutting-edge diagnostic tests that are highly sensitive and reliable to be used at the Point-of-care. Our journey began with a simple question: “How can we make infection testing more accurate, accessible and straightforward for everyone?”. In answering that, we’ve embarked on a mission to create solutions that not only address the immediate need for early infection detection but also contribute to the larger global health landscape.

What does Zendia mean?

Zendia’s name is inspired by the concept of “Zen,” a form of meditation that requires deep focus and letting go of one’s ego, which is a challenging and long-term commitment and “Diagnosis,” the act of identifying something through analysis. highlighting the importance of understanding and insight. By combining the essence of these concepts, we created “Zendia.” Our name represents our journey through focused innovation (‘through Zen’), as we simplify and minimize the effort required in infection diagnostics. Our mission, much like the practice of Zen, is our purpose, guiding our dedicated approach to developing innovative, straightforward solutions.
